N² looks to deepen our present understanding and future vision for the noosphere. It is an international, interdisciplinary conference bringing together leading scientists, scholars from across the disciplines, thought leaders, creative artists, and all those who are interested in the meaning and possibility of the noosphere for our collective future.

N² 2024 | The Noosphere Global South

The N² Conference 2024 is the second edition of the prestigious N² Conference launched by Human Energy at the University of California Berkeley in 2023, featuring invited speakers such as Kevin Kelly, Ben Goertzel, Ilia Delio, Robert Wright, Robert Lawrence Kuhn, and many more, as well as Human-Energy-affiliated scientists such as Terrence Deacon, Francis Heylighen, Gregory Stock, Brian Swimme, and David Sloan Wilson. The 2024 N² Conference on the Noosphere & the Global South will be a highly participatory and collaborative event, with short, feature presentations from an impressive slate of invited speakers, an interactive exhibit of selected posters, and ample time for mutual engagement and discussion.
We welcome all those interested in the noosphere and the promise of human collective consciousness to attend, and we invite proposals for presentations that speak to the conference themes, outlined below.

N² is an in-person conference with opportunities for remote participation. All presentations will be live-streamed for open access. Virtual registration will give viewers up-to-date information about the program and related resources.

The N² Conference is sponsored jointly by Human Energy, a non-profit research, media, and educational organization dedicated to introducing the noosphere as a Third Story of the universe that can provide a source of meaning and hope for future generations, and by The Institute for Advanced Studies at University of Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P)
