Nevada Geosciences Research Symposium 2025

Join us for the first annual Nevada Geosciences Research Symposium on April 11, 2025!

This day-long event is hosted by students, faculty, staff, and researchers in the integrated Nevada Geosciences group, which includes members of the Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering, the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology and the Nevada Seismological Laboratory.

The Research Symposium provides an opportunity for undergraduate students, graduate students, researchers, and post docs to present their research to our broader Nevada Geosciences community, as well as members of other University departments, industry, the public, and other government agencies. The event will consist of both oral and poster presentations.

Please check back in later for more specific schedule and logistical details. We anticipate the event running on April 11th, 2025, with author submission and registration deadlines occurring earlier in the Spring 2025 semester.
