We are pleased to welcome physician recruiters, residents, NOSM U undergraduate medical learners, physicians, educators, and rural health partners to Thunder Bay.

This community connection event has been developed, with thanks to our planning committee and the input of community recruiters, to try to accomplish the following goals:

1. Continue to build connection amongst community recruiters so that we are collaborative resources to one another.

2. Continue to share information as partners so that together with NOSM U and Ontario Health, we continue to build the physician workforce our communities and citizens need.

3. Build on the work of the November concierge event and share progress and new developments since then.

4. Host a community connection event in which learners from the "west campus" and rural west context can come together with communities and regional faculty to explore opportunities to learn and work in Northern Ontario.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. If your community needs to cancel its registration, the following refund schedule will apply:

Cancellations received on or before October 7, 2026 will receive a full refund.
Cancellations received from October 8 to October 20, 2026 will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received after October 20, 2026 are non-refundable.
