Thank you to all who attended the Pan Northern Leadership Forum

Engaging others through personal influence, communication, and collaboration

March 2 & 3, 2023

12:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST (both days)

Join us virtually at Northern Lights 2023! An opportunity to network and further develop your leadership skills. Learn with and from colleagues across Northern Ontario. Sessions will be relevant to faculty in their first five years of practice along with developing and experienced leaders.

Forum Description

Engaging and connecting with others is essential for effective leadership. Leaders engage others through personal influence, communication, teamwork, and collaboration. Leadership activities include fostering the development of others and creating safe environments where all team members have opportunities to contribute, and diverse perspectives are welcome. This requires the ability to communicate effectively, encouraging an open exchange of information, and be willing to engage in difficult conversations.

Forum Learning Objectives:

  1. Discover individual and collective leadership practices relevant to leading in Northern Ontario.
  2. Create leadership networks which support personal growth and avenues to explore leadership challenges.
  3. Practice coaching like leadership approaches applicable to clinical and educational settings.
  4. Identify strategies to support leadership diversity, equity, and inclusion in Northern Ontario.
