Dr. Joe SanfelippoKeynote Speaker

Dr. Joe Sanfelippo recently retired after spending the last 26 years in the building and the final 12 as the Superintendent of the Fall Creek School District in Fall Creek, WI. The Fall Creek School District was named an Innovative District by the International Center for Leadership in Education twice during that time. Joe holds a BA in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, an MS in Educational Psychology, an MS in Educational Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Leadership, Learning, and Service. He was selected as 1 of 117 Future Ready Superintendents and 1 of 50 Superintendents as a Personalized Learning Leader by the US Department of Education. Education Dive named Joe their National Superintendent of the Year in 2019.

Michelle TrujilloCenter for Learning and Well-being

Michelle Trujillo is passionate about igniting hope in schools and the workplace! She is known to make a tangible, sustainable, and positive impact through her books, speaking engagements, and interactive workshops. Michelle shares relevant content, experience, and applicable takeaways with her audience. Her sincerity, enthusiasm, and expertise are contagious and substantial. Named Nevada’s 2016 Innovative Educator of the Year, Michelle has appeared as a featured guest on television (including Oprah), podcasts, and radio stations across the nation.

Danielle McIntoshUniversity of Nevada, Reno

Danielle McIntosh is an MTSS Coach at the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities PBIS Technical Assistance Center, within the College of Education and Human Development. She works with Nevada school leaders to support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support through technical assistance, training, and coaching, focusing on academics and literacy. Previously, she spent 20 years at Washoe County School District as an elementary educator, S.T.E.M. Instructional Coach, Literacy Coach, ELD Coach, and Professional Development Trainer, with 12 years supporting MTSS. McIntosh earned an M.Ed. in Advanced Teaching and Leadership with an ESL emphasis in 2014 and a B.S. in Education from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2003. She holds Nevada certifications in elementary education and ESL.

Note about food/beverages: Lunch on Wednesday and PBIS swag will be provided to all conference attendees. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided daily. Water stations will be available throughout the conference.

Parking:

Parking is available at the West Stadium Parking Complex near Lawlor Events Center on Level 6 (with a valid parking code)

Parking codes will be provided one week before the conference. (PLEASE check your junk email, if you think you didn't receive the information)

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

-Registrations can be switched from one person to another if they are not able to attend.

- Participants can cancel their registration for a refund up to one week before the conference begins. Cancellations made after this date are non-refundable but will qualify for free registration to a future network-held conference event.

-Although not anticipated, if the Network cancels the conference, all registrations will be refunded.

-Please email stacyt@unr.edu with questions about refunds or cancellations.
