Course: The Application of Pharmacology to Drug Discovery and Development

This three-part course is a comprehensive discussion of the practical application of pharmacological principles to the process of drug discovery. Each 2-day installment of the course covers a major topic in Pharmacology:

1. Agonism and Drug Efficacy February 3-4 (2016), Salle M415, Pavillon Roger Gaudry, Université de Montréal, 2900 Boulevard Edouard-Montpetit, Montréal, QC H3T 1J4.

The format of the course is mainly in person lecture with Q&A sessions, worksheets, practical pharmacological problems analyzing datasets, and hands-on demonstrations of pharmacological techniques. By the end of the course students should have a firm grasp of the skills employed in industrial and academic new drug discovery programs.
