Where | Embassy Suites Golf Resort and Convention Center, 670 Verdae Blvd, Greenville, SC 29607 - Embassy Grand Ballroom, First Level
Who | Affiliated clinicians and academicians (Prisma Health, Clemson University, Furman University, and University of South Carolina) and their students, residents, and fellows are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentation.
What | Prisma Health celebrates research and scholarly activity that are competitively selected annually at the Prisma Health Education and Research Institute Showcase. This continuing learning opportunity hosts a scientifically diverse spectrum of basic and clinical research and quality improvement activities aligned with Prisma Health priorities and goals. Through the Showcase, Prisma Health with its academic partners (Clemson University, Furman University, and University of South Carolina) seeks to encourage camaraderie and collaboration producing evidence informing clinical practice. The Showcase also provides a venue for individuals to refine their peer-reviewed presentation skills.

Tuesday, September 8 by 11:59 p.m. - Abstract submission deadline

Monday, October 12 by 11:59 p.m. - Digital posters due
Friday, October 30 - Showcase (physical posters to be presented)
Registration | Registration is REQUIRED to attend/participate in the event. Registration must be completed prior to submitting an abstract.

Reviewers for Showcase Needed
Reviewers are needed to review abstracts/posters. In efforts to reduce the numbers needed judges and time involved, we will only conduct one set of reviews this year but the reviews will need to consider both the submitted abstract and the submitted digital poster. The scoring rubric may be accessed here. Reviews will be performed electronically/virtually.

Showcase and Research Recognition Awards
Purpose | The Prisma Health Research Recognition Program recognizes extraordinary efforts among Prisma Health personnel. With this Program, individuals are recognized, acknowledged, and rewarded for their contributions to the Prisma Health research community.
Eligibility Requirements for Nomination | Any individual involved with the research enterprise at Prisma Health may submit a nomination. Specific example(s) of the nominee’s efforts and contributions should be submitted by the nominator as this is required for the Review Panels to adequately evaluate the nominee. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

PHIRE Interest Group Lunch
The Prisma Health Interdisciplinary Research Exchange (PHIRE) is a collaborative initiative sponsored by Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville that brings together clinicians, faculty, learners, researchers, and leaders to advance research through interdisciplinary collaboration. PHIRE fosters meaningful connections, mentorship, and engagement across a wide range of research interests, creating opportunities to accelerate discovery and improve patient care.
Whether you are already part of a PHIRE Interest Group or interested in joining one, all are welcome to attend the PHIRE Interest Group Lunch during the Research Showcase in the Pinehurst Ballroom.
