Over 25 years of experience in polyolefin recycling, including the management of three recycling plants. Career highlights include the establishment of industrial sites and the development of circular solutions such as food-grade opaque PET recycling and post-consumer recycled PP trays. Since 2024, responsible for the commercial development of circular plastic materials at Paprec, with the aim of offering recycled resin ranges aligned with the needs of plastic converters.

Diplômé de l'Institut d'études politiques. Titulaire d'un master en administration et politiques publiques. 30 ans d'expérience dans la direction d'organisations d'intérêt public dans les secteurs de la coopération culturelle internationale, de la protection sociale et de l'agriculture. Initiateur du label bas carbone dans le secteur agricole en France avec l’organisation France Carbon Agri. Délégué Général depuis 2023 du Comité de la Plasticulture et Agroenvironnement (CPA) qui a la charge du pilotage et la gestion du système national de collecte et de recyclage des plastiques agricoles en France. Également Secrétaire Général du Comité International des Plastiques en Agriculture (CIPA) depuis 2024. A ce titre, directeur de la publication du Plasticulture Magazine.

Juliette Brunet est Responsable Programme Economie Circulaire chez IPC, le centre technique industriel de la plasturgie française. Les sujets sur lesquels elle travaille sont le développement des nouveaux usages des plastiques tels que le réemploi et le développement de solutions à bas impact carbone telles que les plastiques biosourcées. Juliette Brunet est titulaire d’un doctorat de l’Université de Lyon réalisé au sein du laboratoire du CP2M et obtenu en 2019 sur la synthèse et la caractérisation de polymères à réticulation dynamique à base de bore. Elle a ensuite travaillé sur des sujets en lien avec la biodégradation et le recyclage avant d’intégrer IPC au début de l’année 2025.

Public Affairs Officer at Paprec, responsible for monitoring national and European regulatory frameworks related to plastic recycling and waste management. With a dual master’s degree in political science and in business & management, I have a strong interest in public policies and regulations that shape industrial sectors.

A graduate of “Ecole Polytechnique” and “Télécom Paris”, Jean-Yves Daclin has 25 years’ experience in specialty chemicals and low-carbon economy solutions. After a few years in consulting, he held several managing positions of different Business Units at Hutchinson.
In 2011, he joined TotalEnergies as Director of Solar Energy, to initiate the group’s transition to decarbonised energy.
He then took over the management of the Low-Carbon Solutions Division within the Polymers Department and lead the biopolymers and chemical recycling projects at the Grandpuits conversion site south of Paris.
He is General Manager of PlasticsEurope France since 2021.

Kieran Demangeat est ingénieur diplômé de l'ENSAM avec un double parcours MSc Mechanical Engineering à Georgia Institute of Technology. Il rejoint Citeo en 2023 pour contribuer au développement des premiers emballages en verre de la gamme standardisée réemployable "R-coeur". Aujourd'hui, en tant que chef de projets, il pilote le développement des emballages plastiques standards, en lien avec l'ensemble des acteurs de la filière du réemploi et accompagne les projets R&D visant à accélérer le réemploi des emballages plastiques.

With more than ten years of international experience in plastics processing and industrial equipment, Jérémy Fandart brings a strong combination of technical depth and real-world production insight to the automotive sector. Today, as Automotive Key Account Manager for ENGEL France, he supports leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in building efficient, reliable, and future-ready injection-molding solutions. His role combines strategic guidance with a deep understanding of shop-floor realities, making him a trusted partner for customers seeking performance, robustness, and sustainability in their manufacturing operations. Jérémy’s career spans multiple stages of the plastics value chain. At Eurostyle Systems, he managed the full lifecycle of industrial equipment—from defining specifications for IMM cells, 1K/2K technologies, robotics, cooling, and utilities, to supervising installation and start-up for both greenfield and brownfield projects. His earlier roles at Faurecia in France and Thailand strengthened his expertise in process engineering, tooling standards, scrap reduction, and line commissioning, including the deployment of complex ENGEL systems in production environments. Backed by a technical education in polymer processing at ISPA and practical experience with IML thin-wall packaging, automation, and industrial optimisation, Jérémy combines engineering rigor with a customer-driven mindset. He leverages his technical expertise to understand each customer’s constraints and ambitions, translating them into tailored solutions that improve stability, productivity, and long-term competitiveness. This blend of hands-on knowledge and customer-focused problem solving is at the core of the support he provides to every project he leads.

Dr. Klaus Fellner is a seasoned expert in plastics engineering and circular-economy technologies, currently serving as Head of Application Technologies at ENGEL Austria GmbH. With a background grounded in polymer science and numerical mechanics from Montanuniversität Leoben, he has directed his career toward transforming injection-moulding processes for greater sustainability. Since joining ENGEL in 2016, Dr. Fellner advanced from assistant to executive management and development engineer roles focused on plasticising systems and recycling technologies. He became Team Leader for Circular Economy in 2022 and took on the broader remit of Application Technologies in 2023. In his current role, Dr. Fellner spearheads technological innovations aimed at re-integrating recycled plastics directly into the injection-moulding process—eliminating conventional preprocessing, reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, and enabling “design for recycling”. His leadership was instrumental in ENGEL receiving the Austrian State Innovation Award 2024 for the groundbreaking Two-Stage Process. Dr. Fellner is widely respected for combining deep technical knowledge with strategic vision: he emphasises not only process optimisation but also the economic drivers that enable sustainable practices at scale. He continues to contribute to the plastics industry’s shift toward closed-loop manufacturing, material efficiency, and high-quality recyclate utilisation.

Dr Pierre GERARD, Ph D and expert in composite materials, working for Arkema, a specialty innovative and sustainable material provider. Group leader of composites lab at the Lacq research center, previously involved in the physico-chemistry of acrylics and nanomaterials for 15 years then global head of R&D of the newly acrylic liquid thermoplastic resin Elium® and now head of the program "Recycling and Sustainability"

Managing Director of Reprocover since 2018, Charles leads industrial-scale composite recycling initiatives and oversees product commercialisation and R&D projects. He also chairs the ECCA Working Group for Road Vehicles & Public Transport, driving innovation and sustainability in the composites industry.

Bénédicte Goffin holds a Master degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) as well as a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Namur (Belgium). She joined Certech (Seneffe, Belgium) in 1998 as Project Manager. With more than 20 years of experience in the field of polymer science, Bénédicte is leading several collaborative R&D projects at regional and European levels. This includes the scientific and financial management of public funded projects such as cross-border projects (Interreg programme between France and Belgium). Through these various innovative projects, Bénédicte specialized more particularly on topics related to biobased products, wood or natural fibers polymer composites, circular economy and plastics recycling.

Gabrielle Gauge is a Chemical Engineer with over 14 years of experience in polymers and, more recently, in sustainability. She graduated in 1996 from CPE Lyon with a degree in Chemical Engineering, specializing in Environmental Technologies. Since 2021, in her capacity as LCA, Substances, and Recycling Referent, Gabrielle has played a key role in integrating recycled and bio-based materials to ensure future regulatory compliance. Since October 1, 2025, Gabrielle has held the position of Expert in regulatory compliance for materials and their emissions within the Materials Division, contributing to the development of a compliant and environmentally responsible automotive industry.

Étienne Grau is an Associate Professor in Polymer Chemistry at the University of Bordeaux and a member of the LCPO (Laboratoire de Chimie des Polymères Organiques). His research focuses on environmentally responsible polymer science, with a particular emphasis on the design, characterization and degradation of sustainable materials. He has developed expertise in non-isocyanate polyurethanes (NIPUs), bio-based monomers, NIAS formation during polymer processing, and the environmental fate of plastics. He leads interdisciplinary projects at the interface between polymer chemistry, analytical science and environmental assessment, collaborating with industrial and academic partners in Europe and internationally. His work aims to develop safer-by-design polymers and robust methodologies to evaluate their stability, transformation and biodegradation in realistic conditions.

Patricia Lamouche is Material Senior Expert and Engineering Discipline Leader at Hager Group. She graduated in Material Science from INSA Lyon and started her career in automotive research before joining Hager in 2007. With strong expertise in polymers and material characterization, Patricia leads the Group’s strategy to integrate sustainable materials into products and solutions. She also drives collaboration with universities and industrial partners on cutting-edge research in fire resistance, tribology, and sustainability, while managing a global team of experts supporting all divisions.

Plastic Material Engineer at Decathlon

Audrey Lebouc is technical director at Alpha Recyclage Composites (ARC). ARC is a French SME which specializes in composites recycling through steam pyrolysis. Over the years, ARC adapted this innovative process to reclaim high quality carbon fiber from postindustrial as well as post-consumer and end of life materials. Audrey has an engineering degree in chemical engineering she obtained in 2013 at ENSIACET INP Toulouse, France. She held several technical positions in different industries (polyamide production, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, tire recycling) and has been working on the steam thermolysis process for 5 years.

Alexandre MARTIN has a degree in plastic polymer engineering from ISPA university in France. After several years as plant quality manager in injection molding company, he spends 3 years in Renault group quality department taking care of the approval of plastic parts in new vehicles projects. He joined LyondellBasell (LYB) in 2018 as Business Development Manager for automotive OEMs. He is now also leading LYB global innovation project such as sustainable special effect and Translucent PP compounds for automotive.

Simon NICOLAS has been working in Decathlon in the Plastic material team since 2022. Before that he got his PhD in the doctoral school of University of Rennes 1 (3M : sciences de la matières, des molécules et matériaux.

Steven De Meester is a Professor at Ghent University in the Laboratory for Circular Process Engineering. His research focuses on separation technologies for the circular economy, with particular emphasis on the removal of impurities from plastics using mechanical, physical, and chemical methods

Jim Pasquet est directeur général de Le Pavé, une entreprise française qui fabrique des matériaux d’écoconstruction à partir de déchets plastiques. Passionné par l'innovation et l’environnement, il supervise le développement des matériaux SoftSurface™.

Alessio Portentoso is the Group Sales Director at LATI Industria Termoplastici S.p.A., with over 20 years of experience in the flame-retardant and specialty compounds industry. He holds a degree in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and brings extensive expertise in key account management, product development, and sales strategy. His current focus includes strengthening long-term partnerships with existing customers, expanding into new global markets - particularly in Europe and China - and integrating the Indian team of LATI-LOXIM Thermoplastics Pvt. Ltd. into the LATI Group.

Textile engineer graduated from ENSAIT and doctor of materials engineering, Bénédicte specializes in the implementation of polymers for innovative textile applications. She joined CETI in 2025, where she takes charge of private and collaborative R&D projects involving polymer processing: melt spinning for the production of filaments, development of nonwovens on spunbond and meltblown platforms, functionalization of polymers by compounding, as well as recycling synthetic textiles by thermo-mechanical means.

Sigrid ter Heide is Global Market Development Manager at Westlake Epoxy. Westlake is a global diversified industrial company that manufactures and supplies essential products Enhancing Your Life Every Day®. Sigrid has over 25 years of industry experience of which 15 years in the composites market. She leads business development focusing on innovative technologies. Furthermore, Sigrid has a central role in Westlake Epoxy’s sustainability strategy to lower CO2 emissions and towards circular solutions. She obtained a master’s degree in chemical engineering science at the University of Twente, the Netherlands in 1992.

Vanessa Ventosinos is Engineer in Industrial Chemistry by the University of Santiago de Compostela, with a Master in Innovation Management. She joined CTAG (Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia) in 2007 and works now as Senior Researcher within the Materials Innovation Area. She has been involved in more than 10 research projects, in the last 6 as the project technical manager. She holds 5 publications related to the field of materials engineering for the automotive sector and 13 patents.
A graduate of ENSISA and the European program ETEAM, Maude Vulliet joined CETI in 2022, where she holds the position of R&D Project Manager. With her expertise in innovation design, she supports clients in transforming ideas into concrete projects by integrating innovative and sustainable solutions. She also manages strategic projects related to fibres on the pilot platforms of CETI, covering areas such as drylaid nonwovens, mechanical textile recycling, spinning and fabric design. Thanks to a global vision of the textile value chain and her commitment to sustainability, Maude actively contributes to driving responsible practices and reducing the environmental impact of textile industries Her expertise allows her to guide companies towards a sustainable and innovative transition, while responding to the current technical and environmental challenges of the sector.

Je m’appelle Erwan Vasseur, j’ai 27 ans et je suis ingénieur de recherche au laboratoire IRDL (Institut de Recherche Dupuy de Lôme) à Lorient, en collaboration avec l'entreprise FIIISH. Mon travail de recherche porte sur le développement de matériaux biodégradables pour des applications en pêche récréative, et vise plus particulièrement à concevoir une alternative durable aux plastisols PVC utilisés dans les leurres souples. Mon projet s’inscrit dans une démarche d’éco-conception, à l’interface entre la formulation de polymères, la caractérisation physico-chimique, et les enjeux environnementaux liés à la pollution plastique en milieu marin.
