PreVenture License Renewal & Continuing Education Activity 2026

PreVenture Annual License Renewal for April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027

Eligibility requirements:

If you received your PreVenture training prior to January 1, 2026 you will need to register for your PreVenture license renewal and ensure license fees are paid. License fees are due by April 1, 2026 for the following period, April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.

If you were trained prior to January 1, 2025 you will also need to have completed the 2025 CEA activity in order to be eligible for a 2026 license.

Note* People trained in 2026 automatically hold a license until March 31, 2027 and will not be required to complete the 2026 CEA in order to be eligible to renew their license next year.

**Compulsory Continuing Education Activity (CEA)

PreVenture is an evidence-based program that requires certification and licensing to deliver. All certified facilitators, administrators, supervisor/coaches, and trainers must complete an annual CEA starting the year after they are trained.

If you were trained in 2025 or earlier, you must complete the 2026 CEA in order to be eligible to renew your license next year for the April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028 period. The CEA will be available as of November 2026 and will be emailed to you closer to that time

The permissions granted by a license vary based on the level of certification:

Facilitator License - Grants access to the PreVenture program and materials for the purpose of delivering the PreVenture program workshops and/or conducting the PreVenture screening process and assisting with and/or leading planning efforts for implementation of the program.

 Administrator License - Grants access to the PreVenture program and materials for the purpose of conducting the PreVenture screening process and assisting with leading planning efforts for implementation of the program. Administrators may not deliver the PreVenture program workshops.

Supervisor/coach License - Grants the same permissions as the facilitator license in addition to authorizing the holder to conduct the PreVenture level 2 (high-fidelity) certification process, the PreVenture level 3-part 1 certification process, and provide general coaching and support to level 1 and level 2 facilitators/administrators.

Trainer License - Includes all permissions granted under the supervisor/coach license and additionally authorizes the holder to conduct level 1 facilitator/administrator training. It also permits the holder to provide general coaching and support to certified level 1, 2, facilitators/administrators, as well as certified level 3 supervisor/coaches.

Cost ?

$120 per facilitator and/or administrator license due by April 1, 2026.

$300 per supervisor/coach license due April 1, 2026.

$1000 per trainer license due April 1, 2026.

Please note, the PreVenture Program operates out of the Azrieli Research Centre at the CHU Sainte-Justine Mother and Child Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and this credit card charge will appear as a charge from CHU Sainte-Justine Hospital.
