RQRD Rencontres consortium 2026 / QPRN 2026 consortia meeting
Welcome
Five (5) consortia are active at the Quebec Pain Research Network (QPRN), and a meeting will be held for each of them. These meetings aim to get to know the members of the large group, introduce the leaders and the scientific committee, present current projects, and discuss the outlook for 2026-2027.
All activities will take place face-to-face, to capitalize on interactions and foster the collegiality that characterizes the QPRN. Please note that you can participate in as many groups as you wish, regardless of any previous answers you may have given in our surveys.
You can share the invitation with key people in your circle who could bring a complementary perspective to that of the current group members. However, we would like to remind you that a discussion group of a reasonable size (maximum 30 people) is desirable in order to encourage discussion and ensure that everyone has a chance to speak.
The deadline to confirm your interest and presence is 2 weeks before the event (Varies from September 14 to October 2, depending on the consortium)
Agenda of the different meetings
All consortium meetings will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break at noon; lunch will be provided. A coffee break will also be available upon arrival.
For most of the meetings, the goal is to collaboratively develop 2 to 3 research projects during the day that will receive funding this year. Participants do not need to prepare projects in advance; a collaborative planning session will be held on-site.
