This workshop is a continuation of the January 31, 2024 workshop. Come and apply the concepts covered in the "Data management and archiving" course to your own data.

One hour theoretical training on the design of a scientific poster (fundamentals, presentation structure, graphics), followed by one hour on the approach to an oral presentation of a scientific poster.

The aim of this workshop is to support and equip students to design a scientific poster for presentation at a conference, for example. The following concepts will be covered: basic principles of graphic design, selection and architecture of information, tools and strategies for visualizing information. We'll also take a closer look at the next phase, oral presentation of a poster, covering ways of conveying essential information orally within a short, allotted time.
