Structural Biology of Infectious Diseases Workshop
Workshop to envision the future of structural biology at the interface with microbial infections
BY INVITATION ONLY
This workshop will convene leading experts in structural biology to explore how mechanistic insights can be leveraged to tackle pressing challenges in infectious diseases, including HIV, emerging viruses, invasive fungal infections, and antimicrobial resistance in bacterial pathogens. The program will feature symposia with investigators employing advanced approaches such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), alongside interactive discussions with clinicians. These exchanges are designed to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue, identify clinically relevant questions, and accelerate the translation of structural and mechanistic discoveries into improved patient care.
