Eligibility of Interns
Be 18 years of age or older;
Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or hold a valid open study or work permit for the entire duration of the internship and to work in the health field1 OR do an internship as part of an internship agreement issued by an international university (permit to be obtained).
Be enrolled in a college or undergraduate university program related to the internship in a Canadian educational institution OR have completed a study program in the previous term OR be admitted to a study program in the following term.
1The condition “not authorized to work in childcare, primary/secondary school teachings, health service field occupations” must not appear on the work permit.
