Forum Schedule

Here are the details about the Forum on April 17, 2026.

Virtual Judging and Poster Viewing: Wednesday, April 15, 8am - Friday, April 17, 11:59pm
Student presentation materials are posted online on the Forum site with virtual review and judging taking place over these three days. 

In-Person Judging and Poster Sessions: Friday, April 17, 2026 from 12-4:30pm on the Welch Hall Grand Concourse

11:00am: Student participant check-in opens

11:30am: Judge and guest check-in opens

12:00pm-12:15pm: Set up session A posters

12:15pm-1:30pm: Session A, Poster presentations. Judges and guests view presentations and interact with student presenters

1:30pm-1:45pm: Set up session B posters

1:45pm-3:00pm: Session B, Poster presentations. Judges and guests view presentations and interact with student presenters

3:00pm-3:15pm: Set up session C posters

3:15pm-4:30pm: Session C, Poster presentations. Judges and guests view presentations and interact with student presenters

Connections Lounge: Friday, April 17, 12:00-3:00pm

Join us in the Connections Lounge to chat with employers, industry partners, medical schools, and other organizations that support research. Presenters that visit the Connections lounge will have access to free mocktails and entered in a raffle to win prizes! Check back closer to URF for more information about which organizations are coming.

Parking

Parking can be quite difficult on campus and we are finding that garages are filling up earlier in the day. We strongly recommend using ride sharing services to get to and from campus for the Forum.

If you choose to drive, then we recommend the following garages that are within a 3 block walk of Welch Hall: Speedway Parking Garage, 27th Street Garage, San Antonio Garage, Brazos Garage, and San Jacinto Garage.

Accessibility

The most accessible entrance to Welch Hall is on the Speedway side of the building (east side). 

Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made by Sunday April 6th to the URF Team at URF@austin.utexas.edu
