Vibrio 2026: The International Meeting on the Biology of Vibrios

The Vibrio2026 meeting will be held in Berlin, Germany on September 13th-16th 2026 at the MOA Berlin. The location is in the bustling heart of this fascinating and historical city, with plenty of restaurants, hotels, and activities nearby. 

The conference will cover the breadth of the Vibrio field: from epidemiology to ecology, from genetics to aquaculture, from virulence regulation to climate change. The goal of the conference will be to provide a venue for the exchange of ideas, approaches, and knowledge in the study of this fascinating group of bacteria.

The conference will feature extensive opportunities for presentations, both oral and poster, by attendees alongside keynote addresses and invited talks. Reduced registration costs for students! Meeting  registration includes scientific program, coffee breaks, lunch, cocktails during poster sessions, and also includes a Gala Dinner on Tuesday night.   The program has been designed to maximize opportunities for the Vibrio scientific community to interact.

Regular conference registration is $750 and $650 for students. Registration will be available up to August 15, 2026, or until capacity is met.  To be considered for an oral presentation, abstracts need to be submitted by June 15, 2026. For poster only the abstract deadline is August 15, 2026. All abstracts will be selected for poster presentation unless otherwise indicated. Poster dimensions are 1,44 m (height) x 1,16 m (width).
