The Geological Association of Canada (GAC®) and the Mineralogical Association of Canada (MAC) will be returning to Whitehorse, Yukon for our Joint Annual Meeting from June 13th to 16th, 2027.

Experience the excitement of geoscience in the heart of Canada's Northern Cordillera while soaking in the magic of the summer solstice. The Yukon is host to dynamic geologic research and exploration sectors, offering engaging field trips and topical sessions that highlight the region’s remarkable geologic diversity.

The meeting will be hosted across three venues: The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, Yukonstruct, and The Sternwheeler Hotel & Conference Centre, all of which are within 500 m of each other. These venues are located in the heart of downtown, close to hotels, food trucks, restaurants and bars, allowing you to enjoy cutting edge geoscience combined with the rich culture and beautiful scenery that Whitehorse has to offer.
