Workshop ALLS/TrUST

The ALLS/TrUST workshop in ultrafast science and technology aims to bring together the students, professors and scientists of Canada working in ultrafast science and technology that are members of the Advanced Laser Light Source ALLS and/or the Trianing in ultrafast Science and Technology Network TrUST. In addition to talks by past, present and (potentially) future ALLS users, we will have a summer school with lecture-style tutorial talks. Students will be invited to share their work during poster sessions.

Schedule overview

• October 6 : Tutorial talks, visit of the ALLS facility and reception at the EMT Center of INRS in Varennes, QC
• October 7 to 10 : Conference at the Archives nationales de Montréal, Montreal, QC
• The conference will end around noon on October 10.

Activity

On Oct. 8, we will organize an excursion for all the participants. This will include a walking tour in the old part of Montreal and a boat cruise.

Transport

Bus from downtown Montreal to Varennes on Oct. 6 around noon and back to Montreal after the reception.

Here is a website to help room sharing with other participants : Carpool and Ride Share Signup Sheet for your Group. (groupcarpool.com) It is meant for carpooling, but it will also work for hotel rooms. You can use it to find a room-mate for the week.
