All forms will auto-populate with user-specific questions. Follow instructions for payment if applicable. Look for confirmation email and click button at bottom of email to activate your account on Fourwaves before proceeding to title submission.
First go to "Registration" and register for the meeting. Then look for the confirmation email and click the button at the bottom of the email "Access/Activate my account". Next go to the submission page (see button below or top bar of this website), fill in your name, email, and affiliation. Indicate your student status. Depending on your responses, custom follow-up menus will appear. When you first enter your title, you will also need to add any random text to the abstract section. You can edit the title or abstract after submission. For all presentations, including student contests, titles are due December 8th. and can't be edited thereafter. Abstracts can be edited until February 12th.
Students can enter one poster and one paper in the student competition. If a student has previously placed first in either a poster or paper competition at the WSWS, they are not eligible to enter the category they previously won (paper or poster) unless they have started a new degree program. For example, a student who placed first in a paper competition during their M.S., can enter the paper competition again when they begin a Ph.D program.
