Submission Guidelines

We look forward to abstract submissions for publications that are scientifically rigorous which will allow us to meet our objectives to synthesise collective research and measure progress against the priorities within the GRAA and CRIA (the Agendas). One of the key outcomes from the 2024 I4C Conference, will be an updated GRAA / CRIA (to be a single agenda moving forward),

Our main goal is to deliver new data and research insights for cities and city actors and demonstrate new approaches, from diverse voices and perspectives, to interdisciplinary knowledge co-production and multilevel governance.

Abstract submissions will be accepted in the following streams, that address the priorities in the Agendas:

  • Research papers: Academic research that present scientific advancements, interdisciplinary research and evidence-based solutions. (20 minute presentations, including 5 minutes for questions)
  • Innovative collaboration: Highlights from projects where collaboration between academia, government, business, civil society, and others resulted in constructive learnings and tangible outcomes to accelerate city climate action. (20 minute presentations, including 5 minutes for questions)

Standard format:1 hour facilitated workshop
