Poster session guidelines
- Posters cannot exceed 4 feet in height by 3.5 feet in width. Only the male velcro works to attach your poster to the panel. The RQR will have some on site, but you can bring your own if you want to be sure you have enough.
- A tip to reach a wider number of participants is to write your abstracts and posters in English.
- Posters must be installed before 1:00 p.m. and removed before 5:30 p.m. on October 22 for Session I
- Posters must be installed before 8:45 a.m. and removed before 3:15 p.m. on October 23 for session II.
Poster competition
- The three students with the best posters will be awarded an excellence scholarship of 500$ each. Only students are eligible for these awards.
- You will have 5 min to present your poster and 3 min for questions.
- Your poster will be evaluated on originality, overall appearance, content, organization of information, your knowledge of the subject and timeliness. Poster judging will take place during the poster session. Prizes will be awarded at the closing of the Symposium.
Guidelines for oral presentations
- Oral presentations must be in PowerPoint format.
- Presentations must be sent by email no later than October 20, 2024 to info@info-rqr.ca
- You will have 15 minutes for your presentation, including the question period.
- A tip to reach a wider number of participants is to write your abstracts and prepare your slides in English. However, your oral speech may be in French or in English according to the choice indicated during the abstract sumission.
