alumNIGHTS: Dubai — 2025 Ramadan iftar

We warmly invite all UBC alumni in the United Arab Emirates to come together in the spirit of unity, connection, and reflection at an iftar gathering. Enjoy the serene beauty of Ramadan under the moonlit skies at Layali Al Qamar, featuring a Middle Eastern-inspired iftar buffet and live oud music. Experience great conversation and company over delicious food at this inclusive and celebratory community event hosted by our alumni UBC Global Alumni Ambassador in Dubai, Amany Mohamed (BASc’08).

Additional considerations:

· A buffet dinner with select beverages is available to alumni and their guests at a special reduced rate of C$40 (roughly AED 100) per adult or C$25 (roughly AED 65) for children 5 to 12 years old. Children up to 4 years old are welcome to attend at no cost.

· This event is open to UBC alumni, family, and friends. Tickets must be purchased by a UBC alum. Each alum may buy one additional adult ticket (alum or non-alum), and up to two children’s tickets.

· Registration and pre-payment are required by Wednesday, March 12 (or until tickets are sold out). Tickets are non-refundable.
