Welcome to the Vancouver Diabetes Research Day 2025 conference website.
Vancouver Diabetes Research Day (VDRD) is an annual trainee-led academic research day organized by post doctoral research fellows and graduate trainees at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Don't miss this opportunity to expand your knowledge and network with others in the diabetes research community in British Columbia. *VDRD is not open to the public.
Join us in November for an informative and engaging conference focussed on the latest in diabetes research in British Columbia, Canada- from beta cells to bicycles. We are hosting VDRD events on both November 13 and 14, 2025 and highlighting presentations from invited international diabetes researchers. The VDRD conference will be held on the Point Grey campus of the University of British Columbia.
VDRD brings together experts and partners in the diabetes research field to discuss the latest advancements and discoveries. All graduate trainees are invited to deliver an oral presentation or present a scientific poster highlighting their research project.
