The 2026 Asian American Pacific Islander Nurses Association's (AAPINA) National Conference will be held at Chaminade University of Honolulu.

The 2026 AAPINA Conference will be held at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Parking is limited and we recommend catching an uber/lyft to the venue.

Upon arrival please follow the signs to the Eiben Hall/TC Ching Conference Center. This will be where registration, meals, keynotes, and breakout sessions will be hosted.

Please note that some breakout sessions will be located in Hale Hoaloha and Henry Hall 104 & 107. Posters will be hosted in Henry Hall 102.

2026 AAPINA Conference Overview

This conference aims to provide a platform for nurses to connect, share knowledge, and inspire one another to lead with evidence-based practice and innovation. By addressing these critical themes, the conference can contribute to improving health outcomes for AAPI communities and empowering nurses to reach their full potential as leaders in the healthcare field.

Objectives

Conference Objectives

  1. Explore global health reform initiatives and examine how emerging technologies are transforming nursing and healthcare delivery across diverse cultural, economic, and policy contexts.

  2. Examine transformative applications of digital health, artificial intelligence, and telehealth in nursing research and practice to strengthen patient outcomes and advance health equity.

  3. Advance the use of technology in nursing education by sharing effective strategies for simulation, virtual learning, and competency-based assessment in preparing a globally ready nursing workforce.

  4. Promote interprofessional and cross-sector collaboration to bridge gaps between technology development, clinical implementation, and community-based health reform initiatives.

  5. Foster leadership and advocacy among AAPINA members to influence global and national health policies supporting equitable, technology-enabled healthcare systems.
