Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences (CSMB) Annual Meeting 2026

 69th CSMB Meeting: Membrane Proteins in Health and Disease

The Membrane Protein Disease Research Group is proud to organize the 69th Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences Meeting that will be held Wednesday April 8 to Sunday April 12, 2026 at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity located in Banff, at the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

The meeting will focus on Membrane Proteins in Health and Disease with sessions on:

  •  Cryo-EM Structures of Membrane Proteins

  • Super-Resolution Microscopy of Membrane Proteins

  • Bacterial and Immunity Membrane Proteins

  • Organellar and Tight Junction Membrane Proteins

  • Membrane Proteins in Diseases

There will be a IUBMB Plenary lecture by Dr. Alexander Sobolevsky (Columbia University) and Dr. Claus Juul Loland (University of Copenhagen) will be the Keynote Speaker.

A Cryo-EM satellite meeting organized by Drs. Justin di Trani and Howard Young will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday April 8, 2026. The Keynote Speaker for the satellite Meeting will Dr. James A. Letts (UC Davis).

CSMB Travel awards will be available to registered trainees who are CSMB members and in a CSMB laboratory.

Early Registration is open until January 15, 2026.
