ASAP & MJFF ("Event Organizers") are bound by, and committed to supporting, the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU Regulation 2016|679.

The Event Organizers will collect and store information you provide in this Registration Form for the purposes of enabling us to register your attendance, to support event administration and planning, and to allow for post-event analysis of whether event met intended objectives. The Event Organizers will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose unless it would reasonably be expected that such a purpose is related to the offer, provision and improvement of the event or where such purpose is permitted or required by law.

The information that you provide in the Registration Form and at any other time during the event, including without limitation any feedback obtained during the event, will be used by the Event Organizers to offer, provide and continue to improve its ability to host future meetings.

Confidentiality

Please be mindful that this is a closed event for ASAP CRN grantees and invited ASAP partners only. By extension, all event proceedings (including but not limited to, poster sessions & related discussions) are confidential unless otherwise stated. Your commitment to confidentiality has been codified in the ASAP grant agreement to which your team has agreed to uphold.

Meeting Code of Conduct

The Event Organizers are committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, ASAP & MJFF staff, and all others are expected to abide by this Virtual Meeting Code of Conduct.

Unacceptable Behavior is defined as:

  1. Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  2. Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, staff member, or other meeting guest. Examples of verbal abuse include, but are not limited to, verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or in presentations, or threatening or stalking any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, ASAP or MJFF staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest(s).
  3. Disruption of presentations during sessions or throughout the virtual meeting. All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any event staff.
  4. Presentations, postings, and messages should not contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements, or solicitation for services.
  5. Participants should not copy or take screen shots of Q&A or any chat room activity that takes place in the virtual space.

Any participant violating these guidelines will be removed from the symposium at the discretion of the Event Organizers. Please reach out to cosa@asap.science with any questions regarding the Event Policy or associated Meeting Code of Conduct.
