Video competition 2021 Guidelines

Are you ready for a challenge?

The RSBO invites you to send us a short video (3 mins) on your research project or on any public interest!

Using the 3 min thesis’ format, your video should inform the public about a research project in oral and bone health, and explain its positive impact on Quebec society.

The best videos will be posted on our web site and our Facebook page!

The winners will be revealed after the general assembly on April 23rd 2021

Jury’s selection: 1st place: 500$; 2nd place: 300$; 3rd place: 200$

Public award (most reactions on social medias): 500$

Eligibility:

Open to grad students and postdocs, even if your project is not published

Trainees should have the approval of their supervisors

Trainees should give their consent to the RSBO to advertise their video in social medias

Evaluation Criteria’s: the presentation should be intending to a lay audience, therefore in a language comprehensible for the public. Reviewers will assess the performance using the three main criteria’s described in the 3MT guidelines from the Canadian Association for Grad Studies (https://cags.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/3MT-Handbook-20190216.pdf):
