Jean-Davignon & Paul-Lupien Founders' Award
Named in honor of our founders, Drs. Jean Davignon and Paul J. Lupien, this award has been presented annually since 2004. It is granted to an outstanding researcher, clinician, or practitioner in the field of lipidology, nutrition, and/or metabolism.

Pierre-Julien Commitment Prize - SQLNM
Launched on February 6, 2023, this award is named in honor of Dr. Pierre Julien to highlight his commitment and remarkable contribution to the development of the Société québécoise de lipidologie, de nutrition et de métabolism and to the achievement of the mission of training, education and research as President from 2000 to 2022.
This prize will reward members of the research community on lipids, nutrition and metabolism who have distinguished themselves through their commitment and who have thus improved the daily life of a person, a team, a community or a population.

Jean-Davignon Young Researcher Prize from CMDO
The CMDO Network is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Jean Davignon Early Career Investigator Award. This award is intended for early career researchers in Quebec who have demonstrated excellence at the beginning of their careers.
Full eligibility requirements and evaluation criteria are outlined in the official guide. The recipient—holding an academic position for seven years or less and leading a research program of outstanding scientific quality with a structuring impact on research within the Network—will be awarded a one-year research grant of $20,000.

Yves-Deshaies Rising Stars Prize
Created in April 2012 by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS), the Cardiometabolic Health, Diabetes and Obesity Research Network (CMDO) is dedicated to advancing excellence in research, disseminating knowledge, and promoting expertise in order to improve the quality of life of Quebecers.
The Network is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025-2026 CMDO Network and MaRoute Platform Yves Deshaies Rising Stars Award, open to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in Quebec. This award aims to support highly promising candidates and strengthen their competitiveness for prestigious scholarship opportunities.
The award includes:
Financial support of $3,000 to participate in international conferences;
Financial support of $1,500 to take part in one or more MaRoute Platform training activities;
Reserved access to the 2026 Winter Camp and the 2026 MétaboliQc Congress;
Mentorship from a senior advisor to provide guidance on applications and ensure alignment with the requirements of these prestigious competitions.
One award is granted each year, following an evaluation based on criteria of excellence.
