UBC Trainee Accommodation and Transportation to A-BC 2024

Welcome to our new UBC Trainee Accommodations and Ground Transportation website!

The BC Diabetes Research Network is helping to organize travel logistics for the Alberta British Columbia Islet Workshop being hosted by University of Alberta. The A-BC meeting dates are February 27-March 1, 2024.

This website is collecting information on who will be travelling with our group and if they need group accommodations. Register early as spaces are expected to fill up quickly.

Here are the main objectives of the website:

• Register for a seat on the charter bus
• Register for accommodations (shared) for 3 nights
• Collect contact information and UBC employee number (Workday ID number)
• Collect Supervisor grant information
• Collect name of roommate

Note: UBC needs to charge costs back to Supervisors for their trainee travel and accommodations for external meetings.
