Welcome to the “Accuracy and Efficiency in Scientific Machine Learning” Workshop
IVADO and the Montreal Mathematical Research Center (CRM) invite you to participate in our workshop titled: "Accuracy and Efficiency in Scientific Machine Learning". This exceptional event focuses on exploring and advancing the use of neural networks in scientific and engineering applications.
Despite the pervasive spread and effort to integrate machine learning techniques into computer simulations, there remain numerous challenges for developing accurate and efficient SciML methodologies for routine use in science and engineering applications. The workshop aims to address the challenges and needs to create novel mathematical theories for error estimation and control to improve the accuracy and efficiency of neural network approximations for initial- and boundary-value problems and operator learning.
The workshop will be held from June 25 to 27, 2025, on the campus of l’Université de Montréal and will bring together experts in the field of physics-informed machine learning to collaborate and share new advancements in the mathematical analysis of methods using neural networks.
This event will offer students, postdocs, and researchers multiple opportunities for discussions with scientific leaders on these issues. A poster session and an informal cocktail are also on the agenda.
We encourage you to present your work during the poster session and to take this opportunity to engage in discussions with our guests and gain new perspectives.
