The Academic Network on Global Education & Learning (ANGEL) is an EU-funded partnership project of the Development Education Research Centre and Global Education Network Europe. The network is the most comprehensive network of Global Learning professionals, with >1500 stakeholders in more than 100 countries. ANGEL facilitates the sharing of research and news, organises networking and conferences, and aims to form a pool of experts which can become a resource for policymakers in search of strong research grounding for policy development.

The University of Bamberg in Bamberg, Germany, specializes in the humanities, cultural studies, social sciences, economics, and applied computer science. Academic staff based at the University's Institute for Educational Science have a longstanding connection with the Academic Network on Global Education and Learning, and play an active role in it's projects.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung, short: BMZ) is a cabinet-level ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany. Founded in 1961, the Ministry works to support global economic cooperation by planning and programming German development cooperation, cooperating with civil society and the private sector, cooperating with partner countries and with multilateral organisations, and carrying out development information and education work.

Engagement Global is a German non-profit agency founded in 2012 and based in Bonn which works to promote development cooperation and development policy education as well as civic and community engagement. It provides information, consultation, training and financial support in the development policy sector for individuals, organizations, municipalities, foundations and stakeholders from the educational, civil society and economic sector in Germany and abroad. It is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Global Education Network Europe (GENE) is the European network of Ministries and Agencies with national responsibility for policymaking, funding and support in the field of Global Education. Started in 2001 with 6 national structures from 6 countries, GENE now has grown to include over 50 Ministries, Agencies and other national bodies, from over 25 countries.

The IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education & Society, is a renowned centre for research and teaching
in education and social science. Founded in 1902, the Institute currently has more than 8,000
students and 800 staff. The Development Education Research Centre (DERC) is a research
centre within the Institute that acts as the hub for knowledge generation, new thinking and
quality output on development education, global learning and global citizenship

The Humboldt Forum is Berlin's foremost venue for arts and culture, science and education. The Humboldt Forum is a collaboration between the Stiftung Humboldt Forum im Berliner Schloss; the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz for collections from the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin; the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for the Humboldt Lab; and Kulturprojekte Berlin with the Stadtmuseum Berlin for the BERLIN GLOBAL exhibition.
