ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Accumulation of Scholarships

The primary objective of the CHUSJ Foundation Scholarships being to serve as a lever for obtaining external funding, the accumulation of major scholarships is not permitted for excellence scholarships (not applicable for the recruitment scholarship and the professional scholarship ). Recipients must declare any grants received from other granting organizations or foundations.

Recipients who have obtained a nominative scholarship of an amount equal to or greater than $17,500 at the M.Sc. level, $21,000 at the Ph.D. level and $40,000 at the postdoctoral level from another public granting organization or a foundation must decline the scholarship. the FCHUSJ, as soon as it is offered. The granting of scholarships of lower amounts will not have an impact on the amount of the CHUSJ Foundation scholarship, unless their sum is over the authorised amounts.

In the case of an external scholarship funded jointly by the granting agency and by supervisor funds, the portion awarded by the granting agency will be used to determine eligibility.

Tuition fee waiver scholarships are not taken into account.
