
RSN Student Scholarship Program for Knowledge Mobilization in Digital Health
The Réseau santé numérique (RSN) is launching a call for applications for scholarships to support the participation of members of the student community at national or international conferences, as well as the scientific publication of up-and-coming students in the field of digital health (outside Quebec). This program aims to encourage the dissemination of research results, support students in their academic initiatives and promote the visibility of Quebec research in the scientific community.
In particular, this RSN scholarship program aims to enable members of the student community to present their work at major scientific events or publications in the field of digital health outside Quebec, while promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the integration of up-and-coming students into the research community and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Amount and duration:
Maximum amount: a maximum of 70% of total expenses (conference or publication), up to a maximum amount of $4,000.
Duration: One-off funding for a conference or the publication of scientific results.
The scholarship may be used to cover the costs of registration, transport, accommodation, scientific publications and other expenses directly linked to participation in the conference or the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Eligibility criteria:
Be part of a bachelor's, master's, doctoral or postdoctoral program at a Quebec university.
Be a member of the RSN and be under the supervision of a research supervisor who is also a member of the RSN. RSN Registration form
Participate in a conference in the field of digital health that is relevant to the dissemination of the student's knowledge
ORHave a scientific publication accepted (as lead author) by a relevant peer-reviewed journal.
No other grants or other sources of funding has been received for the publication or conference concerned.
Proof of acceptance at a conference for an oral or poster presentation, or proof of acceptance for scientific publication in a peer-reviewed journal. An early application is possible (in this case, the award would be conditional on formal proof of acceptance).
Funding period
Conferences or publications taking place between March 2025 and April 2026.
Evaluation of applications
Applications will be evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:
Student's academic background.
Relevance of the conference or publication to the RSN's themes and strategic priorities.
Alignment of the presentation or publication with the student's career path.
Quality of the conference abstract or scientific publication (relevance, clarity and contribution).
Beneficiaries commitment
The beneficiaries undertake to:
Acknowledge the RSN's support on the poster, the presentation and/or on the scientific publication (add link to logo).
Commit to submit a post-conference participation report.
Share the poster, presentation and/or scientific publication with the RSN.
Use the funds in accordance with the rules of the Fonds de recherche du Québec.
Return unused funds to the RSN.
