CACBT-ACTCC 14th Annual Conference (Hyrbrid)

Welcome to the CACBT-ACTCC’s 14th hybrid Conference, taking place on May 9-11, 2024 at the Chelsea Hotel, Toronto! Our goal is to maintain and apply national standards of CBT practice, provide a forum for discussion among members of all mental health care professions, increase access to knowledge and training in CBT, promote scientific research in CBT, and promote education about CBT to the Canadian public.

This year’s conference theme is “Addressing the Challenges of a Changing World”. To this end we are pleased to offer keynote addresses, clinical skills training sessions, and half-day workshops on cultural adaptations of CBT, challenges and opportunities for reconciliation when conducting cognitive therapy with Indigenous people, CBT in family practice, climate anxiety in youth, innovations in substance use health care, mindfulness meditation and affect regulation In mood and anxiety disorders, mental health and wellbeing impacts of COVID-19 on health care workers, and treatment of insomnia in adolescents.

We are pleased to inform that Continuing Education (CE) credits are offered for all sessions. The Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies is approved by the Canadian Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. The Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies maintains responsibility for the program.

We look forward to hosting you, online or in person, in fabulous downtown Toronto!
