The 18th Canadian Drosophila Research Conference - Canfly 2025
CanFly 2025 will take place at McGill University New Residence Hall from June 17 - 21, 2025, and is organized out of McGill University and Université de Montréal. A hybrid option is also provided through Fourwaves where participants registered to the virtual format will be able to attend all talks. CanFly 2025 is open to researchers in academia and industry working in Canada and internationally.
McGill University is on land which long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous people whose footsteps have marked this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
Registration will open early in 2025.
Undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to participate by giving oral and poster presentations. CanFly represents an informal environment that accommodates a wide range of participants, thus allowing for respectful and stimulating discussions. Past editions of CanFly resulted in numerous new collaborations formed between attendees.
