Inaugural Canadian Society for Extracellular Vesicles Symposium
Welcome to the Canadian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (CanSEV) Symposium!
We are excited to invite you to the first-ever in-person symposium of the Canadian Society for Extracellular Vesicles (CanSEV), taking place on May 20-21, 2025, at The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) in vibrant Montreal. This hybrid event marks a significant milestone for our nascent society, bringing together extracellular vesicle experts, researchers, and trainees from across Canada and beyond.
This year, we are honored to feature two renowned keynote speakers:
Martin Olivier, PhD - Professor at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC), Montreal, Canada.
Edit Buzás, MD, PhD - Professor at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, and a global leader in extracellular vesicle research.
Their groundbreaking contributions to the field of extracellular vesicles promise to inspire and provoke thought, setting the tone for an exciting and intellectually enriching event.
The symposium offers a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and engage with peers and pioneers in the field. Whether you join us in person or virtually, you’ll have access to inspiring keynote talks, cutting-edge research presentations, interactive discussions, and much more.
For trainees, this event provides valuable networking opportunities, career development resources, and mentorship, making it an ideal platform to gain insights and showcase your work in a supportive environment.
Join us at The Neuro for this historic gathering to celebrate the growth of the Canadian EV community and help shape the future of extracellular vesicle science. We can’t wait to welcome you to Montreal this May!
