3rd Annual Cardiovascular & Cerebrovascular Symposium

The Medicine Program at Health Sciences North is hosting its 3rd Annual Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Symposium on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:40 p.m. EST. The Symposium will be delivered as a hybrid event with top clinicians and researchers who will each deliver interactive presentations on updated clinical skills and new innovations in Cardiology and Stroke.
In-Person Location: United Steelworkers Hall & Conference Centre, 66 Brady Street, Sudbury, ON.
Symposium Objectives
At the end of this symposium, participants will be able to:
- Incorporate the latest science and best practice recommendations into your daily work
- Strengthen Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular care in the community
Twenty-five percent interactivity will be achieved through case scenario presentations and question/answer sessions for all participants.

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at NOSM University for up to 7.5 Mainpro+ credits.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at NOSM University. You may claim a maximum of #7.5 hours (credits are automatically calculated).
