AQPC Symposium 2025

GENERAL INFORMATION

The AQPC symposium aims to share educational research results as well as tried and tested pedagogical practices, documented for the purpose of transfer to different disciplines and colleges.

  • Proposals must be received by JANUARY 12, 2025. There will be no extension of the call for proposals.

  • Receipt of the proposal will be acknowledged by email upon its submission. The steering committee’s response will be sent by email in February 2025.

  • Primary speaker: The contact person for all communications and additional information concerning the proposal.

  • Co-speaker: Refers to each person who co-leads the session. No communication will be sent to this person.

  • Submitted texts must comply with AQPC writing standards (Canadian spelling rules are applied; writing is gender neutral). The terms designating individuals are used inclusively; they encompass both the feminine and the masculine whenever possible. The pronoun “they” is used as a gender-neutral third-person singular pronoun.

  • Speakers whose proposal is accepted will be required to register for the symposium and will need to pay the registration fee and any costs related to travel, accommodation and meals (which may be covered by their institution).

  • If the proposal for a 60-minute session is selected by the steering committee, a registration discount will be provided by the AQPC to the primary speaker and first co-speaker. All other co-speakers will be required to register at the full rate.

  • If the proposal for a 30-minute session (Shorts) is selected by the steering committee, a registration discount will be provided by the AQPC to the primary speaker only. All other co-speakers will be required to register at the full rate.
