BDRC Cybersecurity Conference

It is with great pleasure that the Université Laval Big Data Research Center (BDRC), https://crdm.ulaval.ca, invite you to take part in the first edition of its Conference on Cybersecurity.

The event is expected to gather academic world actors, internationally renowned experts, distinguished researchers, passionate research professionals, postdoctoral researchers and students, providing a unique platform to share innovative ideas, discoveries, techniques, and recent tools related to the practical and theoretical aspects of cybersecurity. The Conference will take place on September 16, 2024, in the bright and friendly premises of Université Laval: a great opportunity to enjoy the colorful autumn of Québec city!

Program

The BDRC Cybersecurity Conference is marked by plenary sessions, presentations focusing on recent advances, and a discussion panel. It will act as a forum for cybersecurity researchers and practitioners across all provinces leading discussions on recent scientific contributions to timely cybersecurity research areas including cybersecurity and AI, critical infrastructure security, and privacy.

The event will be held in a bilingual format and will provide the audience with a platform to discuss new and emerging research directions for securing the Canadian cyberspace. The Conference will be followed by a professional networking cocktail creating a relaxed environment to meet and connect with speakers and practitioners drawn from Quebec and other provinces.

Call for scientific communications (posters)

The BDRC invites students and postdoctoral researchers to submit a proposal to participate in the scientific poster (90 cm x 120 cm) session of the Cybersecurity Conference. We encourage submissions covering any topic related to various fields and disciplines of cybersecurity. Please submit your scientific poster proposal by august 31, 2024 by completing the online form.
