Create 2025

Monday, September 1, 2025

8:30am to 4:30pm

Create is intended for all undergraduate students who are new to the UBC Okanagan campus. With an emphasis on building connections to the people, places, and resources that will support and shape your university experience, our free flagship orientation program is strongly recommended for all first-year undergraduate students who are new to UBC’s Okanagan campus.

What to expect at Create:

Meet your fellow students: Meet with your Orientation Leader and a small group of fellow first-year students from your Faculty and join in on activities and workshops to meet new friends and learn about UBCO.

An official welcome and kick-off: Hear from UBCO Leadership in a welcome ceremony and have a chance to show your UBC Okanagan school spirit!

Showcase Information Fair: Learn about the offerings from nearly 100 Showcase exhibitors including student associations, UBC departments and services, and organizations from the surrounding community.

Optional Campus Tours: Take a guided tour of campus and locate all the essentials

*Please plan to bring money to purchase a lunch on campus or bring a lunch with you (we will not have refrigeration available). During the day, you will have an assigned break in our programming time to visit Pritchard Dining Hall on campus for a lunch.
