CSMB2024 - Gene Regulation: From Cells to Systems

From May 6 - May 8th in 2024, the University of Manitoba will host the 67th Annual Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences (CSMB) Meeting in Winnipeg, at the University of Manitoba Bannatyne campus. The conference theme will be "Gene Regulation: From Cells to Systems. This will be an opportunity to showcase Canadian Science in an emerging field and to develop new research opportunities and collaborations. Our aim is to attract researchers from across Canada and internationally by offering top-tier speakers and special programming for trainees, all at an affordable cost. We encourage you to register your entire team!

We emphasize that the conference is designed to be broad in nature - If you are doing work in any area of molecular biosciences, we encourage you to attend the meeting and present your latest research! The meeting is ideal for trainees, with 75 % of platform talks picked from abstracts. Some platform sessions will run in parallel, but the entire group will come together for the keynote address and award talks. The conference will feature 2 poster sessions.

In addition to coffee breaks mid-morning and at poster sessions, registration includes:

Day 1 - Catered evening reception at UManitoba

Day 2 - Lunch and coffee breaks

Day 3 - Lunch, coffee breaks, and Dinner Banquet

The conference begins with trainee-centered workshops at 1 pm on May 6th. The meeting ends with the evening banquet on May 8th.
