We are very pleased to invite you to the Canadian Society of Plant Biologists • la Societé Canadienne de la Biologie Végétale (CSPB • SCBV) 2025 Annual General Meeting. The in-person meeting will be held at Dalhousie University on August 9th to 12th, 2025, at in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The annual meeting brings together researchers from academic, government, and industry laboratories for three days of scientific communications and networking on all aspects of plant biology. The scientific program will feature plenary sessions on various topics including: plant resilience - interactions with individual, and combinations of abiotic and/or biotic stresses; coastal eco-physiology and the changing climate; and artificial intelligence in advancing plant biology and sustainable agriculture. Continuing CSPB commitment to training the next generation of plant scientists, the conference will also feature numerous scientific communications by early career scientisit, graduate and undergradaute students presented as oral talks in concurrent sessions and as poster displays in the exhibit hall.
New this year are plenary and concurrent sessions on 'Education - Teaching and Learning about Plants', organized in collaborations with the CSPB Education Committee.
