2025 Spring Summit Call For Abstracts

We welcome abstracts in the following streams:

  1. Adapting Cities: Tackling Zero-Emissions, Mobility, and Safety Challenges
    Exploring strategies for achieving net zero emissions in urban mobility systems, focusing on sustainable transportation solutions, energy-efficient infrastructure, and policies to reduce carbon footprints in cities, all while ensuring safety and security in transit networks.

  2. Bus Manufacturing, Procurement, and Aging Fleet:
    Examining the challenges and opportunities in bus manufacturing, procurement practices, and managing aging fleets. This includes strategies for modernizing fleets, improving vehicle efficiency, ensuring long-term sustainability, and enhancing safety and security measures in fleet operations.

  3. Technology, Technical Applications, and Software in Mobility Planning:
    Focusing on the role of emerging technologies, technical applications, and software in urban mobility planning. This includes advancements in data analytics, smart city infrastructure, digital tools, and cybersecurity measures to improve transport efficiency, safety, and security.

  4. Diversity and the Workforce of the Future:
    Addressing the evolving workforce needs in the transportation and mobility sectors. This stream explores the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, while also highlighting the need for a skilled workforce to address safety, security, and technological advancements in the industry.

  5. Data and Ridership Trends:
    Analyzing the role of data in understanding ridership patterns, improving service efficiency, and predicting future trends. This stream covers the use of big data, passenger analytics, and how these insights can drive better transportation decisions while ensuring safety and security for all riders.
