DIABETES & OBESITY RESEARCH DAY 2025

UBCO DIABETES & OBESITY RESEARCH DAY 2025

Academic Research Conference

Join us in Kelowna on May 29 as we celebrate our 6th annual UBCO Diabetes & Obesity Research Day.

This meeting is focused on all aspects of diabetes & obesity research - from beta cells to bicycles.

The University of British Columbia Okanagan's Diabetes & Obesity Research Day 2025 will celebrate the accomplishments of our colleagues and the positive impact of their research on people and families living with and at risk for diabetes and obesity across British Columbia.

This exciting annual scientific day enables academic researchers from across British Columbia to connect, collaborate, and present their research. Graduate trainees are invited to deliver an oral presentation or present a scientific poster highlighting their research project. This in-person event includes both on campus presentations and an evening scientific poster reception at a local venue.

On-campus accommodations and transportation will be organized for graduate trainees and post doctoral research fellows from Vancouver-Kelowna.

*This event is an internal academic research conference hosted by the University of British Columbia and is not open to the public.
