Welcome to Dyspnea 2024!
The Dyspnea Society is an international multidisciplinary community that aims to advance scientific knowledge of dyspnea (breathlessness) and its translation to clinical practice. The Dyspnea Society's international scientific meeting serves an important role in addressing these aims by bringing together researchers, trainees, clinical professionals and industry stakeholders with a shared interest in better understanding the complex and multifactorial symptom of dyspnea.
The Dyspnea Society's 7th international scientific meeting is being hosted by McGill University in beautiful downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada on June 26-29, 2024.

Through this website, you can register, pay the registration fee and submit an abstract. You will also be able to explore the scientific program, which includes presentations on the Mechanisms, Measurement and Management of Dyspnea from established and emerging leaders in the field.

HOTEL INFORMATION
HÔTEL LE CANTLIE SUITES, located ~600 m from the event venue, is the official host of guests coming to Montreal for Dyspnea 2024. The organizing committee has secured a block of 75 rooms (single/double occupancy) for Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27, and a block of 50 rooms (single/double occupancy) for Friday, June 28.
Preferred Rate
$219 CAD + taxes/night (total=$260.61 CAD/night)
Reservation Procedures
Attendees must contact the hotel directly by telephone +1 (514) 842-2000 or email (vipres@hotelcantlie.com) to reserve their stay.
In order to benefit from the preferred rates, attendees must identify their affiliation with "Dyspnea 2024". Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out time for guests who fail to identify their affiliation at the time of booking.
The deadline for individual reservations is May 24, 2024. After that date, any rooms remaining in the aforementioned blocks will be released. Reservation requests received after the deadline will be accepted on a space available and rate available basis only.
All individual reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. Guaranteed reservations will be held all night for the first day of arrival. If a guaranteed room is not used, payment for the full rate on that room plus tax will be charged to the applicable credit card. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will result in the rate for one night plus tax being charged to the applicable credit card.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in time for all guests is 4:00 pm EST. Guests may be checked in earlier depending on the occupancy of the hotel and the availability of clean rooms.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon EST. Any room not vacated by this time will be assessed a half-day late check-out charge until 6:00 pm EST, after which a full day’s charge will be applied.
Parking
Rate: $30.44 CAD + taxes/day - FREE in and out privileges. Please note that the hotel has limited space to accommodate SUV's.

However, rooms are on a space available basis only (i.e., first come, first serve with no reserved block(s) of rooms). Student or senior rates are available on request and with proof of identification on arrival.

From the YUL airport to Hotel Le Cantlie Suites (1110 Rue Sherbrooke O, Montreal, QC H3A 1G9), take the 747 bus to downtown Montreal (stop: René-Lévesque / Union). From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi/Uber ride to the hotel. The hotel is located approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the René-Lévesque / Union bus stop.
