The Canadian Society of Plant Biologists (CSPB-SCBV) Eastern Regional Meeting 2025 will be held on Nov. 28 and 29 (Fri-Sat) 2025 hosted online by Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. Join CSPB-SCBV NOW!

The submission deadline for oral and poster abstracts has been extended to Fri. Oct. 31, 2025.

This annual event brings together plant biology researchers from academic, government, and industry labs in Eastern Canada for a day of talks, posters, and networking on all aspects of plant science. Following in the tradition of the society, this year's event will include two plenary lectures by leaders in their field together with oral and poster presentations given mostly by post-doctoral fellows and graduate students covering all aspects of plant science and technology.

Important dates

• Early registration deadline: Oct. 24

• Regular registration: Oct. 25-Nov. 12

• Abstract deadline for oral and poster presentations extended to: Oct. 31

Authors are encouraged to submit their abstracts as early as possible. The organizing committee will attempt to provide as much advance notice to presenters as possible.
