24th congress of students, interns and residents of the CHUM
Dear Students, Postdoctoral Fellows, and Residents,
Welcome to the 24th congress of students, interns and residents of the CHUM! It is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to join us on October 23-24 to present your research in a hybrid format, during the 10th anniversary of the new CRCHUM.
A decade ago, we had the privilege of relocating our activities to the most advanced hospital-based research center, but more significantly, we had the opportunity to forge a new interdisciplinary community. This has been particularly evident among the undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and residents involved in research at the CRCHUM. By coming together, we have paved the way for innovative collaborations, resulting in remarkable advancements in your research endeavors.
This year, we aim to celebrate your exceptional contributions to the continuum of research in fundamental, clinical, and population health science at the CRCHUM more than ever before. The conferences present a unique opportunity to establish new connections and strengthen our community.
In collaboration with your student and postdoctoral fellow representatives, our team has curated an exciting program that will afford you numerous opportunities to present your work to your peers. You can choose between poster presentations and oral presentations lasting either 12 or 5 minutes. We want to emphasize that the evaluation of posters for the presentation awards competition will be conducted virtually on the afternoon of October 23rd. This will enable you to engage in free and meaningful discussions about your results alongside the entire community on October 24th.
Furthermore, this year we will delve into the prospects of utilizing artificial intelligence in research and training, a captivating topic in this era where artificial intelligence, including ChatGPT and other algorithms, has made such significant advancements. Be prepared for a thrilling exploration of this subject during the conference. Stay tuned for more details on the program, including activities focused on public outreach, which will be announced soon.
We eagerly anticipate your enthusiastic participation on October 23rd and 24th. Let us extend our gratitude to the students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, members of the student affairs committee, and the evaluators whose unwavering support ensures the success of this event.
Please note that it is mandatory to register for the congress on the Fourwaves platform. All necessary links and the schedule will be transmitted via this platform.
