What is a Synchrotron?
Welcome from Elder Kathy & the CLS education team. Introductions - who is here? why? what are we trying to do? Feature Presentation: Did you know that scientists from every discipline make use of synchrotron light? How this light is produced and manipulated? Used by nearly 1000 scientists each year in every facet of science research from biology to physics, medical imaging to materials fabrication and study, environmental to health and everything in between. There are many connections to basic STEM topics across all subject areas. Join Dr. Robert Blyth, Science Projects Manager, to learn all about it. The education team will follow-up with examples of resources to connect to teaching.
