GPSA Research Exposition
Welcome to the 2026 GPSA Research Exposition!
The Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) Research Exposition is proudly organized by the GPSA Awards and Scholarships Committee to showcase the innovative research conducted by graduate and professional students at Washington State University, Pullman campus.
This annual exposition provides a dynamic platform for students to present their research posters, share ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions with faculty, peers, and the broader WSU community. Participants not only get the opportunity to highlight their academic and professional achievements, but also to compete for valuable prizes.
We celebrate the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our students who continue to push the boundaries of knowledge across diverse disciplines. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s exposition.

All graduate and professional students who are S&A fee-paying students on the Pullman campus are welcome to participate in the GPSA Research Expo
The entire university community is welcome to participate in the GPSA research expo. You only need to submit an abstract for evaluation, and once approved, you can participate in the event.
Each graduate student who is accepted to present at the research expo should design a poster for their presentation.
GPSA will pay for posters for graduate students if the poster follows our recommended dimensions. The poster must be 48 inches (width) × 36 inches (height). It will be printed in landscape format (horizontal axis: 48 inches, vertical axis: 36 inches). Please visit the Submission Guidelines page for further information.
Please submit your abstract through our Submissions page on this website.
The deadline for submission is January 21, 2026.
Posters are evaluated based on the rubric handed over to our judges. Please download the rubric on the Submission Guidelines page.
Please download the rubric on the Submission Guidelines page.
Judges for the research expo are either faculty members or post-doctoral students. Each judge holds a PhD. To avoid conflict of interest that may arise if judges know participants in some capacity, judges are not assigned to grade posters in their specific research expertise, department, or college. Our rubric allows our judges to understand and grade research from diverse fields.
Winners will be announced at most 24hours after the event. In this case, we seek to announce winners on March 27, 2026, by 5 pm. Winners will be announced on the research expo website as well as via email.
For each category (college), there will be three winners - 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Sometimes, depending on the availability of funds and if there is a tie for any of the positions, we may consider rewarding a fourth student.
