The Insurance and Resilience in a Changing Climate Conference, hosted by the Greenberg School of Risk Management (GSRM) at St. John's University and sponsored by RenaissanceRe, Vantage Risk, PartnerRe, KPMG, Galway, Lloyd's and W.R. Berkley, will facilitate a lively exchange of knowledge and ideas among insurance professionals, academic researchers, and policymakers to address challenges presented by climate-related risks.

Serving as the inaugural conference in a series of planned initiatives, this conference will facilitate the development of practical strategies to bridge identified gaps by bringing together experts in climate and insurance across various domains. It is envisioned to be a platform dedicated to collaborative research and educational activities focused on disaster insurance and other climate and environmental risk management solutions. These collaborative efforts, both current and future, aim to equip the insurance industry and the public to navigate and positively impact the climate change landscape.
