Savour the Harvest with a Family-Style Feast at UBC!

Join us for an epic evening of incredible food, friends, arts and culture, right here at UBC Vancouver! Celebrate the start of the school year (and Homecoming Week) by spending a cozy evening surrounded by 700 of your closest friends, family, and colleagues at this beloved campus celebration.

Harvest Feastival is an annual collaboration between Campus + Community Planning, Sage Catering, and the UBC Arts and Culture District. The evening includes a family-style feast of six locally-sourced dishes, followed by an exclusive lineup of arts and cultural experiences curated especially for Feastival guests, at UBC’s world-class Arts and Culture District.

    • Event Check in | 4:00pm-9:00pm

    • Dinner | 5:00pm-7:00pm 

    • Arts & Culture Programming | 7:00pm-9:00pm

The Menu

UBC's Chefs have prepared an incredible feast featuring six locally-sourced, sustainably-minded dishes. All dishes are served family-style so you'll have the chance to try it all! Please note that due to the nature of this event, substitutions are not possible. 

To Start

Candied Salmon Niçoise Salad.

A West Coast take on the French classic, with UBC Farm baby greens, green beans, steamed Pugly potatoes, kalamata olives, free range egg, honey shallot vinaigrette

allergens:  fish (salmon), egg, sulphites, mustard

UBC Farm Beet & Grapefruit Tiradito.

A vibrant, plant-based ceviche inspired by Peruvian flavors, in citrusy leche de tigre with mint, radish, habanero pepper & fried ginger

allergens: no known priority allergens

The Main Event

Char Siu Pork Belly.

Slow-roasted pork belly glazed with garlic, ginger, and serrano chilies, served alongside creamy celeriac purée and sautéed king pea tips.

allergens:  milk, sulphites, soy, sesame, gluten, wheat

Coconut & Turmeric Penne.

A fragrant pasta dish with bok choy, swiss chard, cherry tomatoes, toasted coconut, and garlic chili crisp

allergens:  gluten, wheat, sulphites

Sweet Treats

Lemon Curd & Blackberry Beignets.

Light and airy filled pastry, dusted in cinnamon sugar

allergens:  gluten, wheat, egg, milk

Black Cherry & Dark Chocolate Torte.

Rich dark chocolate torte paired with tart black cherries, toasted pistachios, and a coconut whipped cream topping

allergens: milk, egg, gluten, wheat, soy, tree nuts (pistachio) 

Ticket Prices

A limited number of tickets will be sold for this event. Choose from two ticket options:

  • Individual Tickets: Open seating where you choose your seat after checking in on event day

  • Group Tickets: Seating at a reserved table (for groups of exactly 12 or 24 people)

Prices are as follows (tax not included):

Individual Tickets:

  • Students and Indigenous community members- $45

  • Faculty, Staff, UNA and Acadia Park residents, UBC Alumni- $58

  • General Public - $70

  • Children (Ages 3-10)- $30

  • Infants (Ages 0-2) seated on an adult's lap - Free

Group Tickets:

For groups of exactly 12 or 24 people, you may purchase a reserved table. To reserve a table, email us at info.inspired@ubc.ca with the following details:

  • Your group/department name

  • Requested table size (12 or 24 seats)

  • Full names of all guests and their affiliations

* Kindly note: If your group size is not exactly 12 or 24 people, please purchase the appropriate number of tickets, and grab some seats together in the general seating area! Our greeters will assist you in finding the correct amount of seats.  

 Your ticket includes:

  • A delicious family-style dining experience featuring six dishes: two appetizers, two entrees, and two desserts. Alcohol is available for purchase for guests 19+.

  • Post-dinner performances and venue admission in the Arts and Culture District. View the program schedule here!
